Community Welcome

What makes the Junior League of Morristown successful in our community? It is our ability to identify community needs and work collaboratively with community partners to help solve critical issues hindering people in need. We do this through our strong membership of intelligent, compassionate, and committed women who volunteer their time to help those in our community that need it the most.

The Junior League of Morristown is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the Morris Area community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

JLM has a rich history of community leadership. Several of these efforts have evolved into new non-profits who continue on today. JLM’s current community strategy focuses on:

  • Developing and facilitating workshops on nutrition education, promoting exercise, self-esteem, and anti bullying
  • Implementing short-term volunteer opportunities that target issues relating to the Morris Area community such as homelessness, domestic violence, childhood obesity, bringing arts to low-income children, respite for caregivers of the elderly among others….
  • Lobbying NJ legislators to influence public policy relating to the critical needs for women and children

We always welcome new members. If you are interested in helping to make a difference in your community please contact the Junior League of Morristown at 973 539-2266 or to send us an email jlm@jlmnj.org.
